The technician will design and conduct experiments, analyze data and interpret results under the mentorship of the principal investigator. A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Perform laboratory techniques and procedures required for experimental studies. + Perform technical lab duties. + Schedule and perform various analyses. + Assist with establishing and scheduling various procedures and analyses. + Prepare reagents, purify chemicals, and identify, separate and quantify various substances. + Conduct testing and procedures utilizing laboratory equipment and instrumentation. + Accumulate data from analyses. + Prepare charts, graphs, statistical tables, publications, grant proposals and applications for research forms. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school diploma or GED. + 2 years of experience in a research or related laboratory environment OR an associate's degree in a laboratory science field and 1 year of work experience OR a bachelor's degree. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $18.88 Maximum hourly: $28.80 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
