Job Summary

This position will work to identify lantern fly nests. This position involves both software and hardware development. The end goal for this position is to produce a working prototype for lantern fly nest detections and requires writing reports and presenting findings to internal and external collaborators.

Essential Functions

Software development Hardware development Report writing Presenting results to internal and external collaborators Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

A master's degree in Chemical Engineering or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. Please review the  Equivalency Chart for additional information. Lab experience, hardware development, software development.

Additional Information

This position is classified as non-exempt, grade I. Compensation for this grade ranges from Minimum: $ 19.69 to Maximum: $ 29.54 Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
