DescriptionThe incumbent of this position is responsible to materialize the maximum number of requests and reservations.
Key Responsibilities\n Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability.\nEnsure clients’ satisfaction and adherence to Kempinski service standards.\nFollow internal credit policy.\nFollow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superiors.\nSpot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals.\nTest calls LQA / IFH results > 85%.\nFollow the internal up-sell programme for Reservations department.\nPerform any other duties as assigned to them by management.\n
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\n Previous experience in a similar capacity with a minimum of 1 year \n Fluent in written & spoken English and Arabic.\nExperience working with Opera PMS System \nKnowledge of hotel related systems an advantage \nAttention to details and able to prioritize tasks \nStrong communication skills \nSelf – motivated and continuously strive to better his/ her skills and increase his/ her knowledge. \nAble to work with minimal supervision. \n Graduate of Hospitality Management, Tourism and Travel, or other related courses. \n Focused on providing consistently high standards of customer service. \n Recognizes that achieving exceptional guest service necessitates embodying values such as empathy, a customer-centric approach, and cultural sensitivity \n
