Role: Residence Advisor Location: Thornwood, NY Salary: $18-$20 / hour (Room & Board included) *All applicants must be age 21 or older Who We Are: EF is the world’s leading educational travel provider with over 55 years of experience. With our International Summer Schools, we offer young learners the opportunity to spend 2 – 4 weeks in North America, improving their English language skills in a robust program while participating in a full-activity program of sports, discos, parties, excursions, and lots more! The Role:
In this role, you will have responsibility for the smooth running of the residence and ensure a high level of customer service and student satisfaction.
Your key tasks will consist of, but not be limited to: Planning and managing student arrivals and departures. Ensuring accommodation meets high standards of quality, cleanliness, and comfort. Monitoring cafeteria flow and student behavior during dinner hours. General student welfare and discipline. Address problems and emergency situations should they arise. Share after-hours, on-call duties on a rotational basis. Stepping in to assist with daily student activities on campus as needed. Preferred Qualifications Organized with a high level of attention to detail. Capable of using your own initiative. Have the right to live and work in the country of employment.
