In our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services department, we provide habilitation and recreational services, job training for meaningful work, and supported housing for those who need assistance to live in the community. Our goal is to help people pursue their dreams, so they can thrive and grow.

 

SUMMARY:

The Residential Manager oversees the operation of two Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRA), which are group homes for individuals with intellectual disabilities, under the oversight of the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD)

Responsibilities

· Serve as a member of the I/DD Department Leadership Team

· Model I/DD department’s vision of excellence, and putting people supported at the core of our values and efforts

· Directly Supervise two assistant Managers and two teams of Direct Service Professionals

· Work with the Quality Improvement Team to ensure the best outcomes for programs and people supported

· Manage the finances and budgets of the assigned IRA’s

· Coach, mentor, train and develop staff towards excellence

· Provide operational oversight to the IRA’s including physical plant, and ensuring they’re in compliance with all OPWDD regulations

· Be a positive resource to people supported, families, and members of the team as needed

· Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Two or more years of experience in a management capacity in a human services organization, directly supervising employees

· Experience working with people with Intellectual Disabilities Strongly Preferred

· Knowledge of OPWDD Regulations and Policies Strongly Preferred

· Outstanding Leadership Skills

· Experienced in facilitating meetings

· Skilled in facilitating communication between diverse interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders

· Comfortable with technology

· Ability to work independently

· Excellent communication skills, written as well as verbal

· Valid Driver’s License

 

 

Salary Rate: $66,150.00
