Four Seasons Residence Club Scottsdale is seeking an experienced and dynamic Ocotillo Grill Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Ocotillo Grill Restaurant and the poolside area of the residence club, ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role involves leading and managing the Ocotillo Grill Supervisor, Servers, and Pool Attendants, providing the necessary support to ensure operational excellence in food and beverage service. The Ocotillo Grill Manager will maintain high standards of quality, guest service, and safety while managing staff schedules, training, and financial oversight.
In this capacity, you will report directly to the Regional Director of Residences and the Assistant Director of Residences, working closely with them to ensure alignment with the overall operational strategy. As an Assistant Department Head, you will collaborate with leadership on key operational decisions, ensuring that the day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you will do:
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Lead, motivate, and manage the Ocotillo Grill Supervisor and Pool Attendants to ensure the highest levels of service and guest satisfaction.
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Ocotillo Grill and pool area, ensuring smooth service delivery, quality control, and consistency in food and beverage offerings.
Ensure that all staff are fully trained in food and beverage knowledge, guest service, safety, and operational procedures.
Manage and monitor staffing schedules, labor costs, and payroll for the restaurant and poolside teams.
Coordinate and oversee daily operations, including food and beverage service, guest inquiries, and the delivery of poolside amenities.
Maintain effective communication with the kitchen team to ensure the timely preparation and delivery of food to guests.
Handle guest concerns and ensure prompt resolution to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and private functions at the Ocotillo Grill and pool area.
Maintain and monitor cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of both the restaurant and pool areas.
Control inventory levels, place orders, and ensure that supplies are appropriately stocked for daily operations.
Assist in the development and implementation of seasonal menus, promotions, and offerings in collaboration with the culinary team.
Oversee financial recordkeeping, including tracking revenue, completing end-of-day reports, and ensuring compliance with company standards and budgeted guidelines.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, sanitation practices, and emergency procedures.
Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment through strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution.
Understand the food and beverage business flow and be present and available during peak operation hours on the floor at all times to ensure smooth service delivery.
What You Bring:
A dedicated leader with a passion for providing exceptional guest service in a luxury resort setting.
At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage management leading an operation or a substantial supervisory background in a luxury environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively motivate, coach, and lead a team.
Proven experience in managing daily operations, labor costs, inventory, and financial recordkeeping.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including preparation methods, service standards, and safety protocols. A valid AZ ServeSafe certificate holder is a plus.
Ability to manage guest concerns professionally and ensure customer satisfaction.
A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a commitment to creating an inclusive, team-oriented work environment.
Flexibility to work during peak periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule & Hours:
Full-time managerial employment with possible overtime based on business demands and to complete assigned tasks.
Ability to provide maximum availability for the 7-day operation, including weekends and holidays.
Hours of operation are from 6:30am-Sunset with the kitchen open from 11am-4pm.
Schedule varies to support and manage Ocotillo Grill team member shifts, with starting times at 6:30am, 8am, 9:30am, 10am, and 11am. There may also be PM shifts during Weekly/Monthly event nights.
30-minute lunch breaks.
Valid US Work Authorization:
US work authorization is required with a minimum of 2 years valid from the date of hire.
Transfer candidates may be considered if they possess a valid L1 Visa.
