The Arc Wayne of Newark, NY is seeking to hire a full-time Residence Supervisor for our Residential Program to monitor service provisions in Lyons, NY to promote community integration and maximum level of independence in activities of daily living. You will ensure team members are trained and able to proficiently provide care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have complex needs. You will assume responsibility for the overall operation of the assigned residence in the Residential Program. Earn a starting wage of $28.58 per hour. A Day In The Life As A Residence Supervisor: + Training, implementing and monitoring Staff Action Plans, Protective Oversight Plans and Behavior Support/Monitoring Plans + Assures adequate staffing to meet program and individualized needs. + Responsible for house staffing schedules and creating staff assignment sheets. + Supervisor record maintenance, documentation of service provision and completion of Agency and Program specific forms. As an Residence Supervisor (RS) you will provide support to a team of Direct Support Professionals and a Residence Team Leader. This includes assuring adequate staffing to meet the needs of people supported, including interviewing, hiring, training, and development of the team, and can assume direct care responsibilities on an as needed basis during staffing shortages or increased needs of individuals receiving services. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am-4pm. with flexibility to meet program needs. You must possess a: + Associate degree in Human Services or related field, one year supervisory experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and one year supervisory experience OR, + High School Diploma/GED and 3 years supervisory experience and one year working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. + A combination of education and experience may be considered. + Valid New York State Driver's License that meets the agency driver standards. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on an occasional to frequent basis. Must be able to alternate between sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, twisting and crawling on a frequent basis.
