Resident Account Specialist - Atlanta, GA

We are in need of a Resident Account Specialist to oversee the overall integrity of resident financial records for an assigned community portfolio in Georgia.

Responsibilities:

Collect rents and control delinquencies Serve legal documents and process/supervise all eviction proceedings Attend unlawful detainer and other court hearings (virtually) on behalf of ownership as required Deposit all funds, including bank deposits, daily Manage resident online payment enrollments Process and post all SODAs timely Assist Accounting with Account Month End discrepancies, reconciliations, and variances as needed Manage resident payment plan options per company operational guidelines Responsible for assigned community portfolio resident account ledge activities, ensuring documentation is kept complete, accurate, up to date and compliant Maintain knowledge of all relevant laws and agency regulations, including but not limited to fair housing, harassment, disability accommodations, and landlord-tenant relationships to ensure 100% compliance Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

2+ years’ experience in property management as a community manager preferred Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bilingual Spanish is a plus Able to work independently, demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, prioritizes and plans work assignments, organized and uses time efficiently to meet deadlines Work Hours: 40 hours per week, as scheduled, Monday through Friday. Weekly schedule may change as required. May be necessary to work holidays Experience with property management software preferred - Entrata
