Resident Administrator

General Description: This position at Casa Suenos Apartments (181 units) will report to the Resident Manager and the Property Supervisor, and will perform a variety of administrative duties to support the extensive needs of our high-profile apartment communities. The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent verbal, written, organizational, and analytical and computer skills. The ability to work collaboratively with other key staff and deal with the public is required. 

 

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:

Initiating, scheduling, completing resident and applicant certification processMaintaining computer database - input information and retrieval of reportsPreparing weekly and monthly reportsCalendaring events and meetingsBasic administrative work such as copying, filing, correspondence, mail and phone Establishing, organizing and maintaining filing systems Organizing and publicizing events Assisting with projects on as needed basis. 

 

Required Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills including ability to work with various Windows-based programs including MS Word, Outlook and Excel. YARDI a plus. Superior organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through Good research skills Ability to work independently, prioritize duties, meet multiple deadlines and work as a team member Must have LIHTC experienceValid CA driver’s license and proof of personal auto liability insurance

 

Desired Qualifications:

A second language to facilitate oral and written communications for resident and applicant issues would be an asset, but not a requirementCalifornia driver's license desirable A sense of humorThe ability to multi-taskInterest in real estate/property management and non-profit work would be an asset.

Physical Requirements:  Able to transport 10 pounds
