Resident Assistant
Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package for RAs with excellent benefits and hourly wages ranging from $21 - $27 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on related experience. Opened in 2020, the Pillars of Prospect Park is conveniently located off the light rail transit station and close to the metro bus near the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis, MN. This senior living community features 133 Independent living, 106 assisted living and 44 memory care apartments. Two buildings, make up this vibrant community and also encompasses an on-site Intergenerational Child Care Center. We are looking for a Resident Assistant/Home Health Aide whom would be responsible for providing personal cares and designated health related services to improve and/or maintain the senior residents’ physical and emotional well-being. Will also get trained to pass medications. NO CNA required, unless under 18 years old. Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts. Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse. May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities. Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff Assists with onboarding of new staff Required Skills: Ability to communicate optimally, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkers Ability to work in a team setting and support others Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population CNA certificated if under 18 yrs old Preferred Education/Experience/Skills: High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA or HHA course Previous work experience as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA
