**Responsibilities/Job Description** + Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts. + Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse. + May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities. + Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff + Assists with onboarding of new staff **Qualifications** **Required:** + Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting + Curiosity to work with a diverse and older population + CNA certificate required if under 18 + Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone, fax machines **Preferred:** + High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA/CNA or HHA or PCA course + One to three years of previous experience **Need help finding the right job?** We can recommend jobs specifically for you!
