Resident Athletic Trainer, Temporary

Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Resident Athletic Trainer in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Assist with coverage of 19 Division I sports, including FBS football program, maintenance of athletic training room, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Training. Sports covered for these positions will include, but may not be limited to: football, men's soccer, women's soccer, track & field, volleyball and women's lacrosse. A spring sport will be assigned. Job Duties may include but are not limited to: 1.Assist with the daily operation of the athletic training department 2.Administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic Training. 3.Primary sport assignment as determined by the Director of Athletic Training with other sport coverage as deemed necessary 4.Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: •Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree •Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree preferred •Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: NATABOC certified or eligible, CPR and First Aid certification. A successful candidate should also have strong written and communication skills; detailed organization; a passion about continuing education. Additionally, a successful candidate should be dependable and want to be a part of the Sports Performance team. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
