What you’ll do:

Assists residents with activities of daily living and delivers personal care services in a manner that promotes choice, involvement and participation to the greatest degree possibleAssists delivery of meals, housekeeping, laundry and therapeutic recreation programsBe resident-centred in your approach and model our values in all your interactions with the public, team members, residents and their familiesParticipates in the delivery of social, recreational and therapeutic programs including group activities, outings and special events

What you’ll need:

Graduate of Health Care Assistant program from a college recognized by the Post- Secondary Education CommissionPossesses excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsDemonstrates genuine interest and concern for the well-being of seniorsRegistered with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry
