The RCC manages the care staff in AL by scheduling, evaluating, and supporting the frontline care staff while reporting to the HWD. The RCC should be in close contact with resident families and be instrumental in care plan meetings and service issues as they relate to care.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Resident Care Coordinator to join our team in Brunswick, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Assisted Living team members and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Oversee and schedule Assisted Living team members to maintain optimal staffing levelsParticipate in Care Plan meetings with families and residents, updating Individual Service Plans (ISPs) as resident needs changeCollaborate with the leadership team in weekly at-risk meetings to address resident needs and concernsImplement and manage efficient operational processes, including shower schedules, laundry schedules, and caregiver assignment sheetsEnsure compliance with company policies and promote best practices in resident careCommunicate effectively with families, frontline team members, and community management to maintain operational excellenceReview and optimize care delivery processes to enhance resident satisfaction and well-beingParticipate in ongoing training and development initiatives to stay current with industry standards and best practices

QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required3-5+ years of caregiver experience, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare settingCNA certification preferredProven experience in staff scheduling and team managementStrong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, and team membersProficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel for scheduling purposesExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesDemonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide a teamIn-depth knowledge of assisted living regulations and best practicesAbility to remain calm and composed in stressful situationsFluency in English, with strong speaking, reading, and writing skillsEmpathetic and customer-focused approach to resident careFlexibility to adapt to changing resident needs and operational requirementsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in healthcare
