What Your Day Will Look Like:

Consor is seeking a Resident Engineer, to join our Team to provide project leadership in support of a growing PMCM practice. The position will be located in either Oakland or other cities in the East Bay. As a dynamic and growing engineering consulting firm, Consor is full of opportunities for career development. Salary Range:  $140,000 to $185,000/year

What You'll Do:

Growing and enhancing our capabilities to support the administration of complex construction management projects Providing and delivering project and construction management servicesProviding a business development supporting role with Opportunity pursuit strategies, teaming strategies, development of statements of qualifications (SOQs) and cultivating client relationships for new pursuits. Developing project proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets.

 

What You'll Need:

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in civil, construction management, or related discipline. Minimum 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering and/or construction management in roads, bridges. Proven track record in client account management, relationship development, and supervision of field and office staff. Experience in the full spectrum of consulting service including positioning, proposal development and delivery of project scope. Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to solve complex construction conflicts. Demonstrated Resident Engineer skills and the ability to lead, train and mentor junior staff. Ability to communicate with clients and maintain successful client relations. Demonstrated ability to manage budget, schedule, and construction quality assurance/control teams. Active California State Professional Engineer
