Overview Resident Manager (Full-Time) The Salvation Army'sAdult Rehabilitation Centeris Hiring! We are seeking an individual to oversee the Center at night, early morning, and during the day when all other management personnel are gone. Supervise day-to-day operations and staff of the Center’s resident facilities; assign clients housekeeping and kitchen duties; monitors client progress in program and ensures compliance with program standards; enforce house rules and ensures overall security of the Center; ensure that resident facilities are maintained in a neat and orderly manner; plans and implements leisure activities; prepare and maintain Center in a neat and orderly manner; plan and implement leisure activities; prepare and maintain routine reports and statistics reflecting resident facility and client activities. Responsibilities + Enforcement of house rules and overall security of the center. Ensure all times are adequately covered. + Safeguard and ensure consistent adherence to all ARC house rules and policies. + Conduct residence and program orientation for new beneficiaries that includes a facility tour and review of emergency procedures. + Lead weekly House Meetings. + Supervise the medication call. Ensuring beneficiaries record medication in medicine log, according to policies and procedures. + Respond appropriately to routine questions and inquiries from beneficiaries or refer them to appropriate staff. + Provide safe transportation for beneficiaries as need/assigned being sure to follow all + procedures for operation of motor vehicles. + Respond to emergencies according to established procedures. + Report situations to the DRS/MRS or Administrator and make written incident reports and Safe From Harm reports if necessary. + Implement, monitor, coordinate and attend leisure time activities both in Center and out. (Concerts, athletic events, etc.) + Assist in resolving beneficiary problems as necessary. + Responsible to train, schedule and supervise beneficiaries assigned to work therapy + assignments such as janitorial crew, front desk or similar. + Participate in in-service training and workshops to enhance professional skills. + Conduct bed checks at appropriate times. + Administer drug and alcohol breathalyzer or urinalysis tests to beneficiaries + Report and document violations of center policies to Administrator and appropriate Program + Complete daily reports and electronic data entries which include beneficiaries admitted, + terminated and unusual or otherwise noteworthy after-hours incidents. + Assess spiritual needs of beneficiaries and refer to Chaplain/Administrator as needed. + Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications + High school diploma/GED or equivalent required. + Up to one year of work and/or internship experience working with adolescents or young adults. + Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain CPR certification required. + Ability to diffuse crisis situations both within team settings and independently. + Ability to document program events and carry out scheduled or spontaneous tasks + Capable of applying all assigned training topics + PC Skills, Outlook, Word, Internet navigation.
