Job Description
We are looking for a Resident Project Representative (RPR) to observe and review assigned construction projects for compliance with engineering plans and specifications. This individual will be providing construction inspection support on a wastewater construction project in Greenville, OH. Projects will vary otherwise.
-Act as liaison between contractors/ field staff and engineers.
-Collect, maintain and organize construction documentation
-Travel to construction project sites to review worksite compliance with engineering plans and specifications
-Maintain strong client relationships as a company’s representative on the project site
-Maintain strong relationships and communication with contractors and subcontractors
-Verify design plan accuracy in the field
-Propose improvements or recommend alterations where necessary during construction
-Consult with Contractors and Engineers regarding construction practices, construction reports, and engineering designs
-Review changes in construction and materials specifications due to developments occurring during project construction with the Project Manager or Project Engineer
-Provide assistance and expertise on construction projects regarding reports, inspections, tests, and other engineering records
-Perform other related duties as assigned by the Discipline Director, Office Director or President
Additional Skills & Qualifications
-Prior construction inspection experience preferred
-Construction inspection/ testing certifications preferred (ACI, NICET, etc.)
-Associates or Bachelors in Civil Engineering a plus
-Ability to travel as required and/or stay away from home for extended periods of time
