The position:The Resident Relations manager is responsible for ensuring the resident needs are addressed through coordination of onsite activities, work requests, and maintaining current resident contact information.
Responsibilities Ensure that new resident(s) receive all resident documents and keys as well as an introduction to staff and other residentsEducate all residents on procedure to place a service request and assist when necessaryActively address resident concerns and serve as a point of contact for residents and their familiesBuild ongoing relationships with residents and familiesCoordinate services and support systems for residents and family membersKeep all resident and family email lists current and maintain communication through regular contactSend timely updates to residents on activities in our communityParticipate and aid in planning on-site resident eventsAssist property staff in all duties related to HUD recertifications and daily operationsMeet and greet prospective residents as well as touring them through the communityEnsure all events planned are within budgeted guidelinesAssist with any other tasks, as needed Qualifications
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or experience in apartment leasingA minimum of one year experience in a customer service-related industryPhysical Requirements:
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to read documents, computer screens and dataMust be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computerMay occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 poundsMust be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipmentWork Environment:
This is a hybrid role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 4 days per week.The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions.
