Resident Relocation Administrative Assistant

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A RESIDENT RELOCATION ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Effectively communicate with residents keeping them informed throughout the construction and relocation process, providing timely and professional responses to phone calls and emails. Create, post (door to door) and mail (some certified mail) all relocation related notices per notice schedule. Coordinate meetings with tenants, agencies, housing development, property management, accounting and other internal or external parties. Process vendor invoices related to moving, junk removal, housekeeping, tenant reimbursement checks, friends and family benefits checks, etc. Attend community meetings and take notes. Assist with monthly production of newsletter Assist with maintenance requests and hotel service calls related to on/off-site relocation Answer and filter relocation calls, take messages and forward accordingly. Assist relocation coordinator with 1:1 meetings and tenant needs assessment Schedule vendor services, maintain vendor schedule and communicate any delays to vendors and tenants. Provide department administrative support. Coordinate tenant community meeting flyers and Q & A’s; Order food for meetings Assist with booking hotels for tenant relocation and track expenses ensuring tenants do not order room service, etc. Schedule transportation Assist with preparing move packets Assist with Relocation Moves Contact relocatees after move to/from location check-in COMPENSATION $28 - $32/ hour plus an annual bonus #RMC #AFFWEST Qualifications WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in the affordable housing industry (preferred but not mandatory). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A proven track record of managing complex operational tasks.
