Job Overview:
The Resident Service Coordinator & Concierge Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of package receipt, storage, and delivery systems, as well as managing in-unit maintenance services provided by FirstService Residential employees. This role coordinates handyman repairs in our 293 residences across 41 floors. Additionally, the Concierge Manager coordinates the training and operations of the 24/7 concierge desk, ensuring the provision of coordinated services from both our staff and external service providers, such as house cleaning, contractors, and permitted visitors.
Schedule: This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, M-F with potential overtime of 10-15 hours / month.
Location: Midtown at Reston Town Center Condominium Association in Reston, VA.
Your Responsibilities:
Resident Service Coordination: Manage systems for package receipt, storage, and delivery. Oversee in-unit maintenance services, coordinating handyman repairs. Coordinate with FirstService Residential employees to address maintenance needs in the residences. Utilize and manage programs such as BuildingLink and KeyLink. Oversee the management of the key system through KeyLink as a primary responsibility. Concierge Management: Train and supervise the 24/7 concierge desk staff to provide high-quality services. Ensure the concierge team coordinates services from both internal staff and external providers. Maintain privacy and security for residents by training staff to politely challenge unknown guests or visitors. Coordinate with the FirstService team and centralized plant systems to ensure smooth operations. Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 9 additional concierge employees provided by a vendor. Ensure all team members are well-trained and adhere to the highest standards of service and security.
Skills & Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent word processing, mathematic, and computer skills required. Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary. Proficiency in computer programs like Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows required. Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information. Proven experience in residential service coordination and concierge management. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to train and supervise a diverse team. Commitment to maintaining privacy and security for residents.
Working Conditions:
