ResponsibilitiesAs a Resident Services Coordinator with Hines, you will play an integral role in demonstrating a 5-star resident and guest service experience in every interaction at Wolf Point East. You will exemplify extraordinary customer service skills as you provide prompt response and showcase your vast knowledge of local entertainment and restaurant venues. Your possessing of in-depth familiarity of the local businesses will be vital to your success. Reporting to the Wolf Point Property Manager, while working closely with the on-site Marketing Manager, and the Hines Community Manager, the Resident Services Coordinator - Multifamily is insightful, helpful, and understands the value of good service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Greet guests and residents while assessing their needs and answering questions about the community.
Offer personalized service to residents, including assistance with transportation, deliveries, and restaurant reservations, etc.
Respond to in-person, phone, and email inquiries, which includes providing community information, making appointments, and following up with after-hours maintenance requests.
Provide knowledge of the local area to make recommendations about activities, local business, and services.
Participate in leasing when needed, including property tours, quote pricing for available units, discuss renewal rates and guide prospects through lease agreement signings.Responsible for providing effective customer service to all prospective residents, current residents, and property staff by utilizing in-depth knowledge of the property and its functions.
Coordinates all resident functions and activities including orienting residents to the property
Responsible in coordinating move-in and move-out procedures with residents
Managing package room by conducting audits, scanning packages into the system, contacting residents on stale and oversized packages, and organizing the package room
Leads by example, lives the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture at Hines
Builds brand loyalty by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive.
Maintains courteous communication with the owners, residents, their guests, and vendors.
In collaboration with Marketing Manager and Hines Community Manager, he/she will establish and nurture relationships with restaurant and shop owners to offer benefits and discounts.
Aid in ensuring a seamless resident move-in experience.
Assists with the organization and execution of resident & community events.
Maintains pride in the property’s maintenance and appearance needs, by ensuring lobby, amenities and all public areas are neat and orderly.
As the needs of each community vary, so shall the needs of the Resident Services Coordinator role change and alter according to those assigned by the Community Manager.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements include:
High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.One or more years of experience in residential property management or customer service role preferred.Must currently hold or obtain a real estate leasing agent license for the state of Illinois within 120 days.Proficiency in personal computer skills, keyboard, Internet search, email correspondence, math, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other software applications preferredEffective communication and interaction with customers, vendors, management, co-workers, sufficient to exchange or convey information and to give and receive work direction.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysThorough knowledge of local attractions and destinationsMust be able to fulfill the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules, and procedures of the company, including those set out in the Employee Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or writing) to employees.Compensation: $24/hr - $25/hr + incentives Closing
