Sunrise is a place where personal and professional growth is an integral part of your career experience. **RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS** **Responsibilities** As a Resident Services Director, you will be responsible for providing overall leadership and management for the Activities, Resident Services, and Transportation operations including developing and leading a successful, engaging resident centered activity program for the entire community. You will lead the day to day programs, maintaining a calendar of activities and events that provide a variety of resident experiences. In addition, you will work with other Department Coordinators and the Executive Director to develop and maintain ongoing departmental processes in coordination with the overall function of the community. Financial responsibilities include budget preparation and monitoring of expenses and financial statements to meet revenue and budget targets. Leadership responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, coaching and retaining a high performing employee team. To be successful you will need to have: + The ability to handle multiple priorities, possess written and verbal skills for effective communication, be competent in organizational and time management skills, and demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills + The ability to lead and engage residents for their involvement in the social events and various activities + High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook and Excel) and Mac OS X (Pages, esp.), with the ability to learn new applications. + Must be willing to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of residents and fellow team members. + Prefer two (2) years supervisory/management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management daily operations supervision, discipline and counseling. + High school diploma required.
