DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\n\nEssential Job Duties:\n\n\n\nProvide a premium home experience to all Symphony Honolulu owners and residents.\n\n\n\nMaintain order, enforce all Symphony Honolulu rules, regulations and policies, and ensure the observance of applicable laws. Patrol all lobbies, corridors, public rooms, and other areas to detect violations and investigate disturbances, complaints, and accidents. Confer with management, interview guests and employees, warn or trespass violators and caution careless persons.\n\n\n\nRender and obtain assistance for accident victims and document information via incident reports. As a first responder to emergency situations, the Residential Advisor must be able to rapidly ascend multiple flights of stairs and assist emergency and law enforcement personnel as needed. Must be able to use a portable radio for receiving and transmitting information.\n\n\nSUPERVISION
\n\n\nSupervision Exercised:\n\n\n\n\n\n$18.50 - $ 20.50hr
\n\nSupervision Received:\n\nReceives direct supervision from the Operations Supervisor and General Manager.\n\n\n\n\n RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
\nA: Experience
\nPrefer at least 1-year experience in hospitality or condo security. Customer service background desired.
\n\nB: Knowledge
\nFederal, State and City & County laws and ordinances pertaining to condominiums.
\n\nC: Education / Training
\nHigh school diploma or equivalent. Must have a current Guard Card, CPR Certification, be First Aid Certified, AED Certified and have computer skills.
\n\nD: Skills
\nAble to read, write, type, give and receive oral reports. Computer literate, type 25 wpm, report writing. Good human relations and leadership skills. The ability to effectively communicate over the telephone lines and portable equipment. Effectively and cordially communicate with management, residents, resident guests, visitors, employees and law enforcement authorities. Ability to lift and/or move a 75 lb. person in emergency situations. Demonstrate good judgment in emergency situations. Team oriented and display a positive, service-oriented attitude towards our residents, guests/visitors, employees and our company.
\n\nE: Prerequisites
\nValid identification. Be ambulatory and able to assist residents, guests, patrons and employees in an emergency. Completion of various R.A. training courses
\nas described in the training section of the Residential Advisor Employee Handbook.
