Residential Care Advisor (Floater)

Position Purpose:

The Residential Care Advisor Floater works at varying residential sites in a team-based position. We provide care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism who reside in an apartment complex in the Baldwin area. We’re looking for employees who are professional, flexible, compassionate, and can remain composed when encountering stressful situations.

What you will do:

Complete IDS progress notes, and other documentation.Assist our residents with cooking, cleaning, hygiene, and transportation to appointments/shopping as well as manage medications.Flexible to work at various sites to help with programmatic needs. Function as part of an interdisciplinary team who provide support to our persons served.Complete monthly fire drills and other regulatory requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/equivalent AND 1-year direct care experience.Valid Driver's License and ability to drive an organization vehicleAct 33/34/73 ClearancesPre-Employment Physical, Drug Screening and TB testMust successfully pass Department of Public Welfare Medication Training within 90 days of employment
