In this position, you will assist the Clinical Team with treatment procedures, provide supervision and support for clients, and ensure adherence to program expectations. Your role will involve fostering a positive and respectful community atmosphere while helping clients navigate their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily client activities, ensuring adherence to program expectations and rules.

Facilitate client orientation to program rules and rights.

Ensure compliance with medication policies in collaboration with trained Behavioral Health Technicians.

Document client activities and behaviors relevant to their progress and program outcomes.

Screen and monitor detox clients to ensure safety and recovery needs are met.

Provide transportation for clients as needed.

Participate in hiring processes, including interviewing and selecting Behavioral Health Technicians.

Assist in training, orienting, and supervising Behavioral Health Technicians.

Facilitate Behavioral Health Technician meetings and assist with staff scheduling.

Develop and deliver educational or recreational group sessions.

Manage crisis situations and facilitate behavioral interventions as needed.

Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of incidents in accordance with policy.

Maintain compliance with State Regulatory/CARF standards for training and documentation.

Complete annual evaluations for direct reports in a timely manner.

Perform duties of a Behavioral Health Technician as necessary.

Contribute to program curricula and educational materials.

Uphold the long-term and short-term goals and objectives of the organization.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a related field, OR

High School diploma or GED with at least two (2) years of relevant employment experience.

At least one (1) year of supervisory experience preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.

Successful completion of a background check, including criminal record, driving record, and abuse/neglect and fingerprint checks.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and perform repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and writing.

Primarily sedentary work with occasional walking or standing required.
