This position pays a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked from 11pm Friday through 11pm Sunday for both FT and PT employees
The Residential Crisis Team Member will assist in providing a safe environment and positive residential treatment program within the residence. Staff will help to deescalate a situation and identify reasons and solutions to help reintegrate the consumer safely back into their residential routine. Staff will serve as a support system for both staff and consumers during all residential crisis situations. Assist staff and consumers during crisis situations, seeking to reduce the frequency of restraints, crisis calls/mobile crisis outreach and hospitalizations. May serve as a primary staff, temporarily replacing a staff member during a de-escalation period. Identify issues causing crisis situation and assist in coming up with possible solutions to prevent the same issues from reoccurring. Work closely with clinical team to help develop future solutions for similar crisis situations. Implement de-escalation plans and safety plans as necessary. Spend time getting to know both staff and consumers prior to crisis situations arising. Attend all mandatory crisis trainings in addition to Agency trainings. Staff must be able to travel to multiple Agency locations as identified by Supervisors.
