Job Description Job Overview: Responsible for the development of residential construction documents and other related Architectural Materials. Mentor less experienced staff through the product development process Day-to-Day Must have basic skills and knowledge in drafting of:  Architectural Redline Markups. o Architectural Plan Revisions.  Draft working drawings from design development sketches.  Ability to apply all company drafting standards and processes to daily work.  Ensure quality control on all work completed.  Self-monitor quality control on all work produced.  Develop complete construction document sets for city submittal and bidding purposes.  Maintain construction documents as assigned.  Responsible for the more technical aspects of drawings. Skills and Requirements Must Haves:  Related Functional Experience: Minimum 3-5 years AutoCAD operations experience (specific knowledge of current version of AutoCAD Architecture preferred)  Comprehensive knowledge of residential construction techniques, construction documents, building codes, procedural knowledge of activities related to home building construction, including understanding plans and specifications.  Effective communication and organization skills  Software Skills Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Revit  Minimum High School diploma or equivalent Associate degree in Drafting or bachelors degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.  Knowledge and work experience in residential construction may reduce or replace this requirement. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
