Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with on-call responsibilities rotating 1-2 weeks per month after a 6-month contract. Reliable transportation and residing within 30 minutes of the property are required. The Maintenance Mechanic will report directly to the maintenance supervisor to service all 380 units in our apartment complex, primarily managing repair tickets requested by residents.
ResponsibilitiesService and maintain 380 units in the apartment complex.Manage repair tickets requested by residents for minor repairs.Repair small kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, and toilettes.Perform tasks such as installing new sinks, snaking drains, and repairing light bulbs in appliances.Diagnose issues with appliances and determine if repairs can be done on the spot or if a subcontractor is needed.Collaborate with the Lead Mechanic on larger projects around the facility.Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.Essential SkillsMechanically inclined experience.Experience with sheetrock and drywall.Knowledge of property maintenance and repair.Skills in light plumbing, carpentry, and diagnosing issues with small appliances.Ability to perform preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs.Additional Skills & QualificationsUnderstanding of the type of work involved and interaction with residents.Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00
