Job Description: Residential Program Administrator
Salary: $80,000 - $87,000 per year
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Residential Program Administrator to oversee the daily operations of multiple residential facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining high-quality resident care, and managing staff effectively. This position requires a proactive leader who can balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on involvement in the care and management of the facilities.
WKey Responsibilities
Staff Management
+ Oversee the hiring, training, and scheduling of staff members.
+ Handle staff call-outs and ensure coverage for all shifts.
+ Foster a positive, supportive work environment and ensure staff adherence to policies and procedures.
Licensing and Compliance
+ Maintain all required licenses, including the Adult Residential Admin License and Children's Group Home License.
+ Ensure all homes comply with state and local regulations, implementing any updates or changes as needed.
Administrative Duties
+ Manage administrative tasks such as documentation, charting, and required reporting.
+ Regularly review and ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Resident Care
+ Address resident issues, ensuring their needs are met in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.
+ Act as a liaison between residents, staff, and external stakeholders to resolve any challenges.
Facility Management
+ Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of all homes.
+ Ensure homes are fully equipped and in good condition to support a comfortable living environment.
Requirements
eQualifications
Certifications (Non-Negotiable)
+ Children’s Group Home Administrator Certification
+ EVBH Specialized Behavioral Certification (Specific to LA)
+ DSP 1 & 2 Certifications
+ Registered Behavioral Therapist (RBT) Certification (40-hour course required)
Experience Requirements
+ Bachelor's Degree (BA): Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a children’s group home.
+ Associate's Degree (AA): 3+ years of relevant experience in the industry.
Additional Requirements
+ Experience working in an Intermediate Care Facility is essential.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
+ Willingness to undergo and pass background checks prior to starting.
Preferred Skills
+ Strong understanding of state and local regulations for group homes.
+ Experience in behavior management and working with specialized populations.
+ Proven leadership abilities and a collaborative approach to team management.
