Position Summary: The Residential Program Manager worksdirectly with people with Intellectual Disabilities by overseeing theoperations of numerous residential homes. This position directly supervisesResidential Supervisors within the assigned residential locations. Dutiesinclude engaging people in meaningful activities related to their personalgoals, supporting them to connect with people in places of interest in theircommunities, providing support with assistive technology, communication, skillbuilding, discovery activities, maintaining health and safety, and/or personalcare needs. Duties also include the supervision of Residential Supervisors andDSP’s assigned to the programs they manage. This position is responsible forensuring all applicable regulations and policies and procedures aremet. In the absence of the Residential Supervisor, the Residential ProgramManager is responsible for scheduling DSPs, completing all requireddocumentation, and medical oversight. This position has on-call responsibilities,which may require scheduling flexibility.
Primary Job Function(s):
Overall management of the assigned homes. Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with other organizations, families, and government officials. Ensure that the health and safety needs of individuals who receive services are met consistent with COMAR, Center for Medicaid Services, Board of Nursing regulations, accreditation standards, and the facility’s policies and procedures. Write outcomes, goals, and strategies as part of the Individual Planning process, and work with the Residential Quality Manager to ensure that progress is being made toward the achievement of those outcomes, goals, and strategies. Ensure that medical services for individuals who receive services are completed as required.
