Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a subsidized townhome community. This role requires strong tenant relations, operational oversight, and legal knowledge to ensure compliance with housing regulations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, and committed to providing quality housing for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, handling leasing, rent collection, and tenant concerns.Collaborate with the on-site maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and property upkeep.Oversee property operations, ensuring compliance with HUD and RHA policies.Represent the housing authority in civil court as needed for tenant disputes, evictions, or other legal matters.Navigate challenges with ongoing Yardi system implementation, troubleshooting issues as they arise.Handle a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment with professionalism and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Experience in property management, affordable housing, or a related field.Strong tenant relations and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work within government housing regulations and attend civil court proceedings when necessary.Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment with shifting priorities.Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.Mission-driven mindset with a passion for serving low-income communities.
