Position Details

The Residential Shift Supervisor manages the daily operations of our community residential rehab (CRR) for adults with mental illness. They coordinate activities and chores for the residents and lead the staff through supervision, performance evaluations, scheduling, and setting on-call responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Understands and adheres to Merakey mission and vision.   Ensure a warm, enriching and esteem building environment that meets the needs of the consumers daily.   Functions as a member of the management team   Assists with on-call responsibilities in rotation.   Maintains compliance with CRR’s and Merakey regulations.   Scheduling and orientation of direct care staff   Scheduling and approving of overtime on an as needed basis.   Submit paperwork on a timely basis  Schedules consumer’s appointments and assists them in maintaining their physical, mental, and dental health.  Coordinates consumer activities, including socialization and recreation.   Responsible for the overall daily operation of the residential program to include task management and responsibilities of the residents.   Notifying the residential supervisor of repairs and purchases needed   Conduct weekly site inspections and monthly fire drills   Participates in implementing and monitoring individual consumer service plans   Teaches staff medication administration and assists consumers when necessary   Receive medication and transcribing orders   Other duties as assigned
