Operational Excellence:
Manage and lead a group of over 15 production operators across both Resin and Dispersion departmentsEnsure AOE Tier 1 meetings are ran daily per guidelines and expectations. Follow up on 3C items and escalate up to Tier 2 meetings as needed/directedFollow production schedule while communicating any deviations and or issues attaining itCommunicate any safety and/or quality incidents to site leadership. Perform root cause analysis on incidents and put actions in place to prevent future occurrencesFollow up and communicate with production employees in both departments on a regular basis to understand issues, provide guidance, and provide accountability for deviations to procedure and expectationsComplete corrective action with employees as needed when deviations to policy, procedure, or expectation occurComplete shift attendance and payroll in accordance with Axalta policyParticipate in and complete any projects or activities directed by site leadershipPeople & Culture Champion:

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering,2+ years of supervisory experience within an industrial manufacturing environment; in lieu of degree, 5+ years supervisory experience is required.A proven understanding of Quality Systems, process control systems, and laboratory testing process for resins is preferred.
