The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is in search of a dynamic leader to join our Rooms Operations team as a Resort Assistant Manager - Night Manager! This position will be primarily focused at the Front Desk but will have the ability to support the Guest Services or Housekeeping team as well.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Manages the staff at the Front Desk & Overnight Team
Serves as manager on duty and point of contact during overnight shifts
Interviews, trains and schedules the staff and conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed
Coordinates arrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Department
Blocks rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved
Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups
Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed
Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available
Who We Look For:
Ideal candidate will have:
The ability to manage, coach, counsel hourly staff in the Front Office department
Previous hotel/resort experience required or similar previous position in management
Luxury hotel/resort experience preferred
Experience with Forbes Travel Guide standards preferred
Ability to work weekends and holidays with flexible work schedule
Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift.
