Overview Our Resort Program Manager is a leader at Marriott Suites Clearwater Beach at Sand Key and enjoys leading with passion and enthusiasm for the overall experience of the guest. Our Resort Program Manager reports to the Food and Beverage Director and is responsible for designing and implementing guest programming that activates multiple outlets and spaces in the hotel and provides daily choices for activities that make memories for our guests. Whether it's waterside morning yoga, karaoke at the pool, scavenger hunts across the hotel, or weekend lounge singers the Resort Program Manager will build relationships with outside vendors and work in collaboration with hotel department managers to bring a regular schedule of additional fun and entertainment to our guests throughout the property. The Resort Program Manager will also design and oversee all recreation activities out of our amazing Lisa's Klubhouse, named after Lisa our hotel Macaw, which serves as the hub of daily activities for our younger guests. This is a very unique position in our property infrastructure and the right candidate will have heavy experience in program development and management for both children and adults. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Design and implement daily programming for families at the hotel with a focus on activating the pool deck, Lisa's Klubhouse and the lobby Develop unique activities throughout the property for holidays and special events Work in collaboration with the Sales Team to design special programming for in-house groups Develop relationships with outside vendors to utilize in property programming efforts Design and manage all marketing and communication for additional guest programming including schedules, signage, QR codes, apps and ensure regular communication with hotel staff so everyone knows what's happening and when Create a positive environment in all programming efforts that captures guests' attention, drives guests' participation, delivers excellent customer service ensures a fantastic guest experience, and creates memories Work in collaboration with Food and Beverage Director to manage program budget and design offerings within budget guidelines Address any guest concern or need in a timely manner using appropriate problem-solving and resolution skills utilizing other hotel resources when needed Ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests following all hotel policies and procedures This position does require a flexible schedule with responsibilities falling on both first and second shifts, as well as, weekends.
