Resource Capacity Planner

We're looking for a Resource Capacity Planner to join our Anglian Water team based in Huntingdon 

 

Location: Huntingdon 

Contract: Permanent, full time

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Resource Capacity Planner, you'll be working within the Anglian Water IMA (integrated metering alliance) team, which deliver household and business metering programme, including installing new and replacing old meters and managing smart metering trials. In this role you will be responsible for creating plans for the smart metering programme to enable efficient scheduling and minimise disruption to meter reading while ensuring roll out is in line with smart metering infrastructure. 

 

You will provide analysis of work completed and of target properties for the smart meter rollout and work to maximise efficiency of the rollout and ensure achievement of the 1.1m smart meter target. 

 

Your day to day will include:

Create forecast and roll out plans for operational teams relating to our AMP8 smart metering programme, whilst coordinating with internal & external stakeholders Manage the planning team mailbox with day-to-day queries  Manage annual leave and other non-availability and maintaining the resource modeller Uploading of bulk non-availability into SAP and Oracle Influencing and reporting to operational managers to assist with planning and decision making 

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Resource Capacity Planner is great for you if you hold:

Experience within a similar operational environment Excellent analytic skills and awareness & understanding of operational issues Good IT skills particularly on SAP and Microsoft applications
