Apple is looking for an experienced Resource Management Lead to join our Product, Design & Marketing Operations team. We are a large global creative group within Apple Services - with hubs in Silicon Valley, Culver City, New York, London, and Singapore, and smaller studios located across the globe. You will play a pivotal role in developing and managing resource allocation strategies to align with business objectives, and will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of headcount planning, tracking, and reporting within the organization. You’ll partner closely with other Operations team members, Finance, People, Creative, and Production teams to ensure staffing aligns with strategic goals and targets.
**Description**
The Resource Manager will collaborate with individual line of business leads and producers to identify resource needs and priorities, aligning resource strategies with long-term business goals. You will act as the point of contact for all headcount related inquires, ensuring that the headcount data is accurately captured and maintained. Using analytics based on insights and recommendations, you'll make suggestions to continuously improve and refine our annual resource planning processes. Subsequently, preparing and delivering executive level reporting on resources across lines of business. - Facilitate regular meetings with line of business leads to review resource allocation and capacity - Work with leadership to forecast resource demand and priorities based on in flight and upcoming initiatives - Facilitate the end to end workflow of headcount approvals through to candidate hire - Assist in forecasting physical space needs based on future growth projections - Utilize resource management systems to track resource assignments to LOBs and projects - Help Drive Capacity Planning by encouraging tool adherence and standards - Help onboard the organization to new tools from a capacity and resource forecasting point of view - Identify areas for improvement and streamline workflows in current resource management processes
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of the creative process and creative skillsets
+ Proven experience in resource planning and allocation within a matrixed organization
+ Experience partnering with Recruiting, People and Finance teams
+ Experience working with resource management tools (e.g., Airtable, Wrike, etc)
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
+ Proficiency in Keynote and storytelling with data - able to communicate trends & insights with exec level audiences
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills with globally distributed teams
+ Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
+ Flexibility in handling changing priorities and project demands
+ Equally proficient at driving partnerships with internal teams and external partners
+ Great process builder - passion for optimizing and simplifying workflows for ease of use and consistency
+ Ability to understand systems and learn new tools.
+ Ability to be both diplomatic and firm when necessary to obtain results
+ Proactive problem solving abilities to deal with challenging stakeholders and shifting priorities
+ High level of patience, diplomacy and fortitude and a strong voice in a fast-moving environment.
+ Some travel and flexible working hours will be necessary

+ At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $269,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
