This role contributes to overall firm productivity and promotes a positive work experience for all of our staff. Relationships and attention to detail are key to success in this role and the incumbent will partner with practice leadership, engagement managers, staff, human resources, and internal accounting to promote people development and maximize utilization. The Resource Management Specialist will work to balance business needs with economic and operational considerations as well as people development.Individuals who thrive at Moss Adams exhibit the following success skills – Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Presence, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, and Results Focus.Responsibilities:Update and maintain staff schedules using scheduling systemEffectively troubleshoot and resolve simple scheduling conflicts by presenting potential solutions and escalate as necessaryAssist in managing utilization of staff and aid in meeting charge hour budgetsDevelop relationships with staff to understand their goals, experience, and areas of developmentCompile and analyze reports such as scheduled hours vs budget, utilization, projections and more to leverage resourcesCommunicate and collaborate across locations to share staff resources and best practicesCoordinate with HR and leadership to communicate performance issues of staff at all levelsIdentify and support efforts to continuously improve, apply innovation and lead at all levelsImplement people strategies in collaboration with people team membersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Human Resources, Business or a related field preferredMinimum of 1 year of related experience required; experience in project management or resource management a professional services industry preferredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire.
