Position Summary

The Resource Manager oversees resourcing for organizational and digital client projects, serving as the key liaison between Group Resources, Account Teams, and global stakeholders. They collaborate with Team Leads, Recruitment, PMO and HR to drive staffing across departments based on project needs.

This role ensures project resources are effectively managed to support on-time delivery, proactively communicating and reporting on any resourcing challenges that could affect deadlines or project quality. The Resource Manager also enforces company processes to maintain efficiency and project success & leads resource education throughout the organization.

What You’ll Do

Resource Management & Optimization

Develop and manage resource management education programs for the organization, including curriculum, content development, and delivery vehicles to maximize billable resource utilization.Work with Group Resource Team Leads, Account Services, and Project Managers to identify appropriate resource requirements, assess allocation, utilization, and forecasting for scheduling or reallocating hours across portfolios, programs, projects, and tasks in all service lines (e.g., Media, SEO, Web Development, Strategy, Creative, and Analytics).Monitor day-to-day project activity impacts on resource utilization, proactively addressing underutilization or over-allocation of staff members.Act as the point of contact for resource booking confirmations, conflict resolution, and solution development to align with business goals.

Workforce Planning & Hiring Recommendations

Provide hiring recommendations based on forecasted resource needs, ensuring the right resources with the right skill sets are available at the right times.Collaborate with HR and leadership to fill skills or capacity gaps through recruitment or internal upskilling initiatives.

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

Generate, analyze, and advise on reports, including resource utilization, quote analytics for pre- and post-project forecasting, project health reporting, and other key performance indicators.Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resource requirements.Identify potential risks in resourcing, processes, or client deliverables and present resolutions to the Director of PMO & Business Process or senior team members.

Stakeholder Management & Meetings

Facilitate and effectively manage resource meetings with the Project Management Team and department leads to address resourcing issues, conflicts and aligning on priorities.Lead meetings to discuss active projects, new business opportunities, and potential issues such as resource and change control concerns.

Process Improvement

Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance resource management efficiency and effectiveness.Drive adoption of best practices for resource management in Workday and Monday.com.

Utilization Management

Oversee and manage overall resource utilization, ensuring billable resources are maximized while maintaining balanced workloads.Identify and address potential underutilization or inefficiencies in resource allocation

What You Bring

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a digital agency environment.Proven experience implementing and working with resource management software solutions.University degree or college diploma in a relevant field.Mental agility with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects across departments.Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.Assertive negotiation and conflict management skills.Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence individuals across the organization.Team-oriented, collaborative, and exceptional interpersonal skills.Superior time management skills with a keen ability to execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.Candid, concise communication skills in both written and verbal form.Professional, motivated, and self-directed demeanor.

How We Work

This role requires two in-office days per week, with three days in-office during the three-month orientation period. Remote work is not available for this position.
