Job Description & Summary

The Resource Workforce team is a critical component of PwC's Deals business, essential for enabling agility and responsiveness to meet evolving client and project demands. Focused on maximizing resource sharing, this team supports the delivery of the Deals practice by overseeing line of service staffing, forecasting, utilization, and workload balance, all while advancing development and diversity initiatives. As a Senior Associate in our team, you will play a key role in strategic resource allocation across business units, ensuring that resources are aligned with business needs, employee aspirations, and development priorities. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in strategic planning and resolve resource conflicts, contributing to our agile and responsive service model for clients.

This role has the option of being based out Amman, Beirut, or Cairo.

Role Responsibilities

Coordinate with engagement leads to understand project specifics and identify appropriate skills and competencies for each role

Match employees to projects in line with their skills, career aspirations, and development needs

Manage the deployment cycle of staff across various projects, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing downtime

Develop and implement strategic resource allocation plans that align with PwC's long-term business goals

Analyze project requirements, forecast resource needs, and manage staffing levels without overutilization

Maintain regular communication with all stakeholders, including project teams, senior management, and clients

Respond to queries from Deals engagement teams, providing solution-focused advice

Contribute to special projects that enhance quality outcomes and profitability of Deals

Track resource allocation, utilization rates, and project performance, using data insights to optimize resource use

Requirements

5+ years experience in Human Resources or Resource Management, with a focus on staffing and talent development

Client-facing advisory experience, with a solid understanding of a Big 4 environment

​Hands-on experience with capacity planning and workforce forecasting

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude

Strong project management skills, with capacity for multitasking and prioritization

Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management and stakeholder negotiation

Resilience to handle pressure and make timely decisions in a dynamic environment

Proficiency in data analysis and report generation using relevant software

Analytical mindset for interpreting data and making informed decisions

Clear, confident communication skills adaptable to various audiences
