Resources & Collections Intern (Summer 2025)

JOB OBJECTIVE: The Resources & Collections Intern will support key projects related to the organization and preservation of corporate history. This includes contributing to the corporate artwork collection tour, corporate timeline update, and oral history initiative. The intern will help manage physical and digital assets, ensuring accuracy and accessibility in the company’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. Additionally, the intern will play a role in project management tasks to ensure successful execution of these initiatives. CORE DUTIES: 1. Sort, scan, and archive physical photographs and other historical records. 2. Enter and organize scanned images into the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. 3. Assist in the development of the corporate artwork collection tour by collecting information and images of artwork, producing QR code signage, and managing the associated technology platform. 4. Support the corporate timeline update by reviewing and updating significant milestones in the company’s history, researching key events, and working with internal stakeholders. 5. Contribute to the oral history initiative by doing background research on participants, preparing interview guides, assisting with interviews, editing, and cataloging materials for future storytelling projects. 6. Utilize AI tools, including ChatGPT, to assist with research, content creation, and the organization of digital assets related to corporate history and collections. 7. Maintain accurate records and files related to corporate history and collections. 8. Demonstrates inclusion through their own words and actions and is accountable for a safe workspace. Understands and complies with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business. KEY QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in library sciences, history, museum studies, or a related field. 2. Experience with archiving, DAM systems, or records management. 3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on projects. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Previous experience with digital archiving platforms. 2. Interest in corporate history, historical preservation and/or fine art. 3. Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT to enhance research, data management, and content generation. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 1. Ability to remain stationary for several hours at a time. 2.
