We have an opportunity for an experienced and driven Resourcing and Experience Lead, to oversee the workforce management function responsible for resourcing Shutdowns and Maintenance activities within our Industrial and Power Generation business on a 12 month maternity leave contract. This role will report directly to the National Resourcing and Experience Manager in the Energy and Utilities business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Lead and guide the Workforce Management team to provide a high calibre resources to ensure effective shutdown services to the business Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to allow optimum efficiency for all matters related to workforce planning and resourcing shutdowns Drive the agenda for effective resource workforce planning partnering closely with stakeholders Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain a workforce demand forecast based on scheduled and forecasted work Proactively maintain, build and manage contingent labour pools in line with labour forecast requirements Ensure the team has an in-depth understanding of project scopes, deliverables, rosters, remuneration and commercial impacts Reporting on key workforce management metrics including activity and progress to key stakeholders through internal systems Continual drive for continuous improvements to optimize the efficiency of workforce to continuously improve service delivery to internal customers Support with management of third party vendors pertaining to the shutdown activities such as agencies and training providersABOUT YOU
You will be a self-motivated, passionate workforce professional that actively demonstrates and drives best practice and continuous improvement to enable process efficiencies.
Minimum 3+ years experience in heavy industry ideally in workforce management Ability to communicate effectively building and fostering relationships with employees and senior management Proven track record as a successful Team Leader in a high volume shutdown and maintenance within the heavy industry Experience in leading a team responsible for allocation and mobilisation of casual workforce to shutdowns Experience in Workforce Planning and Shutdown Systems and Technology Qualification or degree in Human Resources or Business is desirable Able to work independently, be credible, confident with a high level of integrity Thorough knowledge of the labour laws and EBAs Competent in MS ExcelWHAT WE OFFER
