Resp Therapist-RRT
Overview F/T Respiratory Therapist position in Physician practice. Monday-Friday, No weekends/holidays. Hours: 9:30-5:30 and 10:00-6:00 *PFT experience preferred but not required. Job Details Responsibilities: Understanding of pulmonary function laboratory operations. Demonstrates proficiency in patient assessment, clinical aerosol medication delivery and emergency management procedures, related to performance of diagnostic pulmonary function testing. Calibration, operation and performance of diagnostic pulmonary function testing equipment. Basic computer skills, Epic EMR for documentation and scanning reports. Knowledge of accepted standards, policies, procedures, staff responsibilities and instrumentation related to provision of diagnostic pulmonary function testing. Performs and documentation of 6 minute walk tests. Patient/ Family Education as related to PFT testing, medication delivery systems, devices and Disease state management. *Office practices in accordance with CDC guidelines for infection control and maintenance. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy from a Respiratory Therapy education program accredited by CoARC required. New York State Respiratory Therapy Technician or Respiratory Therapist license required. Minimum of 3 years' experience required. Current BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification Basic computer skills. Salary Range USD $48.72 - USD $56.00 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
