Job Summary The Respiratory Therapist assesses patient's condition and evaluates all data to determine the appropriateness of the prescribed respiratory care. Her or she participates in the development and delivery of the respiratory care plan in accordance with department policies and procedures. This position is per diem #PHX Qualifications Education Requirements Post High School Diploma Program Experience Preferred previous Pulmonary Rehab experience, but willing to train. Certification and Licensure CPR Certification PA Respiratory Therapist License NBRC Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) Required Skills Computer Skills to include use and navigation Excellent Communications Skills Excellent Interpersonal Skills Excellent Teamwork Skills Safety Orientation Service Orientation Strong Team Player Good communication skills (with patients and sometimes family members Basic knowledge of exercise principles Preferred but not required familiarity with ITP's (monthly reports on patients) Proficient with blood pressure readings/monitoring Familiarity with basic arrythmias and monitoring
