Job Description
Supports the Respiratory Care Department in the acquisition and operation of specialized Respiratory supplies and equipment. Provides timely ordering and distribution of Respiratory patient supplies and equipment, assures proper pre-cleaning and transport of equipment to and from Sterile Processing, assists the Biomedical Engineering department in the identification and tracking of items for preventive maintenance and repair, Promotes the mission, vision, and values of Children’s, meets regulatory requirements, and maintains recordsExperience

Participates in maintaining and monitoring the work environment to ensure a continual state of Joint Commission readiness.Orders and distributes respiratory equipment and supplies for all respiratory clinical areas.Acts as a liaison between Respiratory Care and Distribution Services, Biomedical Engineering, and Central Equipment for all Respiratory equipment and supplies.Ensures respiratory supplies are in place and intact in all areas of assigned hospital.Ensures IV pumps and other clinical equipment are clean and ready for use.Maintains an orderly physical environment for assigned areas.Prepares equipment for sterile processing, maintains logs, and inventories equipment prior to returning to clinical areas. Complies with all safety related practices.
