Respiratory Therapists are key to patient success, providing care for not only the patients in our 8 intensive care units, but also for post-surgical patients including, but not limited to, cardiovascular, bariatric, and trauma. Responsibilities:

As a Respiratory Therapist with us, you will care for a variety of patients and assignments in all service lines where you will share your knowledge and skills to help guide patient care. Our team work with autonomy and can make key decisions to improve the care of some of the most critical patients and are widely acknowledged for their vast knowledge base and advanced skill set.

 

You will have opportunities to learn advanced care practices including mechanical ventilation modalities and interventions for a diverse patient population including but not limited to:

General adult care Caring for a neonate during an in-flight transportPediatric patient on high-frequency ventilationPatients requiring ECMO in the medical ICU

Our leadership team believes in teamwork and is dedicated to providing ample education opportunities to support independent decision-making for the continuum of care for our most challenging and critically ill patients.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
MINIMUM REQUIRED:
• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care
• Graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program
• 6 months of experience as an RCP 1


LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
MINIMUM REQUIRED:
• State of California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
