Respiratory Therapist Location: Rapid City, SD Duration: 13 weeks Description: General Information Beds: 260-280; Daily census 250-260 Patient Types: Highly Progressive/Acute Respiratory Care - Adult Critical Care, Pediatric Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care, and general inpatient respiratory care Must be prepared to care for NICU patients if the requisition calls for that – NRP cert required Busy, fast-paced department Required Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist – RRT required Manager may consider CRT dependent upon experience – she is willing to review South Dakota RCP License (SDBMOE.gov) – prior to submittal – takes 30 days BLS, ACLS, PALS. If working in NICU, must have NRP. Required Education: AA Degree Skills required: Critical Care, General respiratory care experience Support on the Unit: Charge RT/Respiratory Clinical Specialist 24/7 Supervisors, Manager, Director Charting System: EPIC (required) Omnicell Equipment: Ventilators: Draeger V500 and Savina 300, 3100A Oscillator, Servo-I MRI, Hamilton C1 ResMed APAP, CPAP, Bi-level Airvo2 High flow devices, Cough Assist, Incourage vest, ABL90 Blood gas machines, IPV, Praxair iNO Floating: If yes, where?
