\nThe Registered Respiratory Therapist will work with a team in a culture of learning and advancement, using scientific values, therapies, and techniques to improve patient care and outcomes.
\nEssential Functions of the Role
\n\nPerforms and directs respiratory care services like oxygen and aerosol therapy. Works with the attending physician and care team. Administers care with quality and excellence, following procedures. Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergencies.\nAdheres to established policies, including infection control, isolation, HIPAA, time and attendance, and social media.\nPerforms willingly and professionally with peers and patients to maintain the very best work environment and outcomes.\nEmbraces the autonomy to grow and enhance skills such that professional and technical requirements are accomplished.\nFocuses on continuous quality improvement in all aspects of clinical care. Identifies, executes, and shares opportunities to improve patient care.\n\nKey Success Factors
\n\nGeneral knowledge of Respiratory Care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.\nAble to read, write and follow flow chart protocols as appropriate.\nCritical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nGeneral computer skills, including but not limited to: data entry, information security, electronic medical documentation, hand-held scanning, and email.\n\nBelonging Statement

QUALIFICATIONS
\n\nEDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification\nEXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience\n\nCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
\n\nBasic Life Support (BLS): BLS in 30 days of hire or transfer.\nRespiratory Care Practitioner (RCP): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).\nReg Respiratory Therapist (RRT): Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board Respiratory Care.\n
