The Juravinski ICU is a tertiary care unit supporting multiple clinical programs including the Regional Programs for Central-
South Ontario. The ICU provides specialized care to the cardiac surgical, oncology, orthopedic, medical and surgical
patient populations, utilizing a multidisciplinary and collaborative team approach dedicated to the principles of patient and
family-centered care.
Under general supervision, the Respiratory Therapist is assigned to the special care areas and is responsible for
respiratory care in these areas. Such other duties as may be assigned.

1. Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
2. Current Registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario
3. Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care (CBRC) exam
4. Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
5. EPIC hospital information system experience preferred
