Respiratory Therapist-RRT
Primarily responsible for performing respiratory Care procedures, as prescribed, without supervision in accordance with department and hospital policies/procedures. May also be called upon for expert advice in matters of cardiopulmonary care. Shares in clinical evaluation of care, including the establishment of therapeutic objectives and review of care.Primarily responsible for ventilator management, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal ventilator management, oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilator management (BIPAP/CPAP), aerosol therapy, arterial blood gases (ABGs) and analysis, airway management, , and if trained, may preform Electroencephalography (EEG).All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives. May also be trained in performing Electroencephalography (EEG).Requirements:
College graduate and Registered by the NBRC (National Board of Respiratory Care) required.Current active certification from the KBRC (Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care)Active membership with the AARC (American Association of Respiratory Care) is preferred.Benefits:
